How do I correct or update a church listing?
Use the Add a Church form with the correct details — submissions for a church that is already listed automatically update the existing listing. You can also send corrections through the contact form.
How do I remove my church from the directory?
Send us a message via the contact form from an address associated with the church, and we will remove or amend the listing promptly.
The app can't find churches near me — what can I do?
Make sure location permission is enabled for the app in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Location Services on iOS). You can also search by state, city, or denomination without sharing your location at all.
How do notifications in the app work?
Sunday-morning reminders and the daily verse are optional and scheduled entirely on your device. Turn them on or off any time in the app’s Settings tab — nothing is sent to a server.
Is Church Directory USA free?
Yes. The website and the mobile app are completely free, with no ads and no account required.
How do I delete data I submitted?
Contact us via the contact form and we will delete your messages or submissions. The app itself stores your favorites and preferences only on your device — deleting the app deletes them.
